Richard purchased his first 35mm SLR camera at just twelve years of age and with a few rolls of film set out on the long journey that would see him become one of New Zealand's leading landscape panoramic photographers.

Along the way Richard lived in London and Dublin and gained experience working for leading commercial and fashion photographers in some of those cities biggest studios. Travelling extensively throughout this time Richard's passions were becoming intertwined.

Richard's photography took a dramatic turn when he discovered the awesome potential offered by medium format panoramic cameras. Offering a vista similar to that of the human eye and the potential to produce stunning quality large prints, Richard was converted and committed to building a panoramic gallery of images like no other.

Richard is an innovator in the photographic market and he is always excited about the next challenge. Today Richards imagery regularly features on calendars, posters and as sought after limited edition prints just to name a few of the products.

Richard also loves music - everything from Springsteen, Dylan and U2 to Opera -  as well as most things art, movies and travelling. Richard currently lives in Titirangi, Waitakere, New Zealand.
